Nicola Ryan is a Senior Analyst in Knight Frank's Commercial Insight team, specialising in the data centre sector. Based in London, she provides research, market analysis and thought leadership across global data centre markets, helping clients understand market performance, investment opportunities and emerging industry trends. Her work focuses on key themes including data centre demand, digital infrastructure, power availability, occupier activity and the impact of technological developments such as artificial intelligence on the sector.
Nicola works closely with Knight Frank's Data Centres, Valuation and Capital Markets teams, delivering bespoke consultancy, market commentary and data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making for investors, developers, occupiers and lenders. She contributes to research publications, client reports and industry commentary, helping clients navigate an increasingly complex and fast-moving market.
Prior to joining the data centres team, Nicola spent three years within Knight Frank's ESG Research team, where she specialised in sustainability-focused market analysis and contributed to the firm's research and thought leadership programmes. This experience provides her with a valuable perspective on the intersection of sustainability, energy and digital infrastructure, bringing an additional dimension to Knight Frank's data centre research and advisory work.
